Last Thursday we attended the Marketing Week Online 2011 exhibition at Olympia. We were slightly apprehensive as in the past we have gone with huge expectations to such events and have generally found ourselves disappointed. However this time we were pleasantly surprised. The exhibition was clearly broken down into colour coordinated sections which contained useful and informative information and most importantly people who knew what they were talking about. The exhibition was packed with new innovative medias which is always a good thing to get the creative juices flowing. Key speakers and forums insured that there was plenty to see. Overall this was a great event and one which we will defiantly be attending in 2012.
Our team has been hard at work, chained to their desks and fuelled on cups of coffee… finally we can unveil our latest e-commerce project… people we give you HUGO MUMBLEShttp://www.hugomumbles.com/
With the Royal Wedding around the corner event collateral has never been so popular. Collateral is often used to support and add weight to an event. However in this case the event collateral will become memorabilia. Gone are the days of simply producing tea cups and spoons in this day and age the new collateral consists of smart phone applications. It was announced today on the royal wedding website that they have developed a ‘Royal App’ which details previous royal weddings. The app will tell the stories from past royal weddings from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1840, to The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall in 2005. The app is available for download from 18 April 2011.
As today is Valentine’s Day, we thought it would be a great idea to deploy an internal campaign for ourselves. We’re normally busy brain storming and deploying campaigns for our clients which means our marketing campaigns are always placed on the “back burner”. We have taken time out from our busy schedules to set aside create and plan today’s eMarketing campaign titled “Love Your Brand” http://www.studio-montage.com/love-your-brand/
Himalaya Carpets Ltd is a family run business. In 1975 it started off as a small shop on South Road in Southall, Middlesex, however they are now established in a 10,000 sq ft warehouse on Uxbridge Road, opposite Ealing Hospital. Their success has allowed them to open two further branches, one in Slough Berkshire and the other on Edgware Road in London. They are now known as the largest independent carpet warehouse in West London.
Himalaya Carpets were referred to Montage by the 'power of word-of-mouth', and were commissioned to re-design and develop a new content managed website.
Our web designer’s mission was to utilise Himalaya Carpets existing and established brand and display this through their new website design. Once the look and feel was signed off, our developer’s integrated the design into a content managed website, which would allow Himalaya Carpets to have full control of updating and managing their website and product catalogue.
Himalaya Carpets are extremely happy with the website that Montage produced and are already receiving many product enquiries through their new website.
With the constant workload coming in, we haven't been able to update our own website or update the blog… so we're sorry if things on our sites seem a bit static, however things at Montage Headquarters have been more that static.
We hope to update progress of our latest work and case studies soon, so keep an eye on our website for more info.
Website speed is one of many methods that Google are using to judge websites quality, which could affect your Google PR and search engine placement. As part of your website marketing plan, you should optimise your web pages load and delivery times. There are many factors that can help, some of these factors are optimising your code, optimising all images on your website and reviewing your web server and hosting.

A very sweet example of how we learn from our parents. This banned Volkswagen television advertisement represents the way in which our opinions, behaviour and decisions are instilled in us from an early age. Brands which we are brought up with play an enormous role in decisions we make as adults. Brand reinforcement from an early age creates and forms the foundations for our years to come.
